I have been a regular test cricket follower from the 1969 tour of Australia in India when Bishen Sing Bediwould open the bowling for India to watching the late EKNATH SOLKAR fielding at silly point without the luxury of a helmet and converting a ordinary ball which was played down the ground just a foot and a half to two feet which which he would pluck out of thin air into a catch. Even now when Dravid was the only player who did reasonably in West Indies and an excellent tour of England to the degree that was called out of retirement from one day matches, all it took was one bad tour of Australia that made the Mandarins of cricket to gun for his resignation, and gentleman that he was he obliged immediately.Interestingly the God of Cricket played all the above series except for probably one occasion at the most. I was surprised to find the little Master speaking about the failure of 4 of our batsman except the the God of CRICKET, I just thought to myself that he didn't want to waste time about a player who has an assured place in the team for as long as he wants.

There is a lot of furore over the State sponsored junkets in Karnataka, which is perfectly justified but should viewed in the overall context of similar happenings in other states to Ministers in the Union Cabinet to the previous President who chalked up almost. Rs 300 cores excluding security and other incidental expenses which was the sum total of money spent by all the PREVIOUS PRESIDENT's of India put together.

Last night I happened to watch TimesNow and Observed two leading legal lawyers of the the Congress, Mr Manesh Tiwari and  Gen Sec  Digvijay Singh trying to maim Narendra modi forgetting  the followings of Mrs Gandhis assassination almost 30 years back when thousands of Sikhs where slaughtered for 3 full days.  In fact one of  the main accused namely Jagdish Tytler when to become a Union Minister the other being Sajjan Kumar. Similarly when anything wrong is pointed instead of attributing reasons they just turn around and say that you committed the same during your 5 to 6 years of  rule. After all we have been in power for 53years since independence.The point I'd like to stress upon is that 2 wrongs dont make a right and people living in glass houses shouldn't  throw  stones at others.

MAMTA BANERJEE DOUBLE SPEAK

Ms Mamta Banerjee has been running with the hares and hunting with the hounds. She has the the audacity to term the killing of AZAD the late Maoist as an encounter despite him having the distinction of 40 plus cases filed against him.


She seems to have selective amnesia regarding the brutal killing of almost 300 security forces even going to extent of beheading some. I suggest that such politicians should not be provided with security cover as their only aim is to somehow occupy the Chief Ministers Chair by any means. Since the whole exercise is only to garner additional votes the police, crpf, special armed forces who lost their lives in vain should be remembered and their families and friends with well wishers should ensure the defeat of such people. The fundamental rights of all our countrymen are equal as enshrined in our constitution, so why give some the people they criticise to protect them and let the remaining billion plus to fend for themselves.

THE PARTY STATES THAT THIS,ONLY WORKS OUT TO1.64 Rs 1.64CRORES WHICH HAPPENS TO ONLY 1% OF THE TOTAL BUDGET. THE FACT IS THIS COULD ONLY BE THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG. THE NEWS CHANNEL TIMES NOW HAVE EXPOSED THE SAME IN THE PAST 2 WEEKS AT THE MOST. IT IS NOT AS IF THE CONGRESS PARTY DISCOVERED THE SAME TO CLAIM THE HIGH MORAL GROUND. CORRUPTION WHETHER IT IS Rs100 OR Rs1,64,00,000 IS THE SAME.THE CONSTITUTION GUARENTEES THAT ALL INDIANS ARE EQUAL, THOUGH IN REALITY IT  IS FAR FROM THE TRUTH. IF THE GOVERNMENT IS SINCIERE, THEY WILL LEGALIZE CORRUPTION AND, DISBAND  VARIOUS ENFORCMENT AGENCIES  AS THEY ARE INFRUCTUOUS AND SHOULD SAVE THE PUBLIC ANYWHERE BETWEEN 75,000CRORERs TO 150,000 CRORES IN,Rs. I WONDER IF THE PUBLIC WOULD BE SHOWN  THE SAME LENIANCY WITH THE CBI,  INCOME-TAX,  ENFORCEMENT DIRECTORATE, ETC. HAVE WE BECOME SO NUMB THAT WE SWALLOW ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING,  WAKE UP. MR KALMADI CHANGES HIS STANCE THRICE IN 10 EVEN GOING TO TO THE EXTENT OF SAYING HE WOULD NOW SUE TIMES NOW, CONSIDERING HIS BLUFF HAS BEEN NAIL WOULD HE THINK IN TERMS OF COMPENSATING TIMES NOW. ITS TIME THE GOVERNMENT KICKED HIM TO INTO JAIL WHERE HE BELONGS , AS THE IMPRESSION GIVEN IS THAT THE PRIMEMINISTER DOWNWARDS HAS SOMTHING TO HIDE. LET THE DITHERING AND DITHERING STOP FORTHWITH.

MYSTERY BEHIND PETROL PRICING

During a recent trip to SRILANKA along with my wife we had to travel by air conditioned taxis for 150 to 200 kms at a time. One Indian rupee that is 100 paise fetches you approximately 260 SriLankan paise, Imagine to our utter surprise the price of various gasoline products corresponded to exactly what we pay in Indian rupees in INDIA, but in SRILANKAN currency, which means the prices in INDIA have been inflated by a whoppy 16 0%.We civilians should hang our heads in shame because Srilanka as a country is about the size of Tamilnadu. They are not a muslim majority country to get free oil like PAKISTAN from Saudi Arabia nor do they belong to the OPEC. In fact after the war was over they systematically went about dismantling the Indian hegemoney and started signing trade agreements with China, Pakistan and Burma to name a few. Whenever India asks for a clarification they defer or skirt the issue by saying you are always special to us.
If a small country like Srilanka can tax the people in as mild a manner as possible and yet manage to rebuild their economy I cannot for the life of imagine why we are insensitised to facing a scam a week and yet continue with our day to day lives. Or is it that it we have become so thick skinned that we are immune to it. GOD SAVE INDIA !
